Carl Bass is a dynamic, entrepreneurial thinker and accomplished business executive with 30+ years of business leadership and extensive sales and project management experience.
With more than 20 years of experience in the AV industry focused on Federal GOV/DOD markets and commercial projects, Carl joined Virginia TIP in 2026 to lead the company’s new business initiatives. He brings his expertise to Virginia TIP to deliver best-in-class, quality AV/VTC technology integration systems that will fulfill and exceed the expectations and needs of clients. Carl has developed strong working relationships with numerous government clients as well as external partners. He has a keen understanding of how to implement unique and effective AV designs and solutions for the needs of today’s global enterprise organizations.
In 2021, Carl founded BassTech Solutions, a specialized boutique AV company focused on providing government clients with creative AV and VTC technology design solutions. Carl scaled the company from inception to over $10 million in annual revenues. He successfully sold the company a few years later.
